The BleBox tempSensor DIN is an advanced, smart WiFi sensor designed to monitor temperature precisely.

In combination with BleBox tempProbe probes, it allows measurement in a range from -55°C to +125°C and shows the trend of temperature changes based on fuzzy logic, facilitating more accurate environmental analysis.

With the free wBox app for smartphones and computers, it is possible to create device groups and read data in real time from multiple probes and sensors simultaneously.

Up to 4 BleBox tempProbe probes can be connected to the BleBox tempSensor DIN.

Probes are available with cables from 1 meter up to 100 meters, allowing precise temperature measurement even in distant locations, including areas without WiFi coverage.

It is also useful for hobbyists, breeders, and pet stores, for precise temperature control in aquariums, terrariums, paludariums, and vivariums, especially during heat waves when maintaining stable conditions is key for plant and animal health.

Thanks to DIN rail mounting in the electrical panel, 230V AC power supply, and a wide measurement range from -55°C to +125°C, the BleBox tempSensor DIN smart WiFi thermometer, together with BleBox tempProbe probes, is ideal for industrial, technical, and food processing applications.

Besides installation in boiler rooms, DHW tanks, or water heaters, it can also be successfully used in smokehouses, curing rooms for sausages, cheeses, and wine, as well as in cold storage rooms, freezers, and other technical or industrial installations.

Additionally, the device is equipped with a self-diagnosis system (detecting measurement errors and damaged cables) and a front panel with RGB backlighting that signals the current operating status. This solution facilitates quick diagnosis and operation, especially in installations with multiple devices.

The wBox app allows you to view historical temperature values for each probe individually! Historical data is available for up to 12 months and presented on an interactive chart, making it easier to analyze changes over time.

For advanced users, there is an option to export data to files in the following formats:

• “.csv”
• “.xlsx” (Excel)

This allows easy processing, comparison, and archiving of measurements in external systems and analytical tools.

The BleBox tempSensor DIN WiFi temperature sensor allows sending push notifications directly to your smartphone.

Notifications can be generated:

• when a set temperature threshold is exceeded (up or down)
• in the form of cyclical reports with the current surrounding temperature

Additionally, the notification text can be customized using “placeholders,” allowing you to adapt messages to your needs.

• “Pool temperature is: 21.7°C, outside temperature is: 31.1°C”
• “DHW temperature fell below 25°C!”
• “Aquarium temperature rose above 27°C and is now: 30.5°C”

The BleBox tempSensor DIN smart WiFi sensor not only monitors temperature but also allows creating functional home automation scenarios using readings from connected temperature probes.

Based on the measured temperature, it is possible to wirelessly control other BleBox devices, such as:

• ON/OFF devices – controllers e.g., “switchBox” / “switchBox DIN” / “switchBoxDC” / “switchBoxD DC DIN“
• Blinds, windows, actuators, dampers – controllers e.g., “shutterBox” / “shutterBox DIN” / “shutterBoxDC” / “dacBoxD DC“

Example uses:

•  If the temperature is too high in the house – close blinds or slats to reduce room heating.
•  If the temperature is too high in the greenhouse – cover the glass or open windows/doors to ventilate.
• If the temperature is too high in the aquarium – turn on fans to increase water evaporation and lower temperature.

The BleBox tempSensor DIN WiFi temperature sensor can be easily integrated with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. This allows you to monitor temperature in the “Home” or “Amazon Alexa” apps and query the assistant by voice, without manually using the app.

Simply give a voice command to your smartphone, Google Home / Nest Hub speaker, or Amazon Echo Dot / Spot to instantly know the temperature in the desired room.

The BleBox tempSensor DIN WiFi thermometer offers three communication options:

• Directly – via WiFi network broadcasted by the controller itself
• Locally – via the home WiFi network, without Internet access
• Remotely – from anywhere in the world using the free BleBox cloud (servers located in the EU, USA, and Canada)

Thanks to the encrypted WiFi network, which the controller can broadcast while being connected to the home WiFi, reliable operation is ensured even in case of router, WiFi access point failure, or Internet outage.

With the free BleBox cloud and wBox app, you can manage sensor access from anywhere in the world and easily share it with other users.

BleBox cloud servers are located in the EU, USA, and Canada to ensure higher reliability and privacy.
