Versatile use

shutterBoxDC allows you to control any 12-24V DC low-voltage motors that are located in:

  • internal shutters
  • internal blinds (with slats)
  • projector screens
  • balcony and terrace awnings
  • roof windows
  • roof blinds
  • tables with adjustable height
  • curtains
  • air dampers
  • actuators


It will also be great for DIY projects, e.g. an actuator for lifting the telescope dome.

Smartphone control

Control remotely from anywhere in the world using your smartphone.

The controller uses the existing WiFi network, you do not need an additional control panel or any radio bridge. The controller can also work without the Internet.

Create scenes and groups that allow you to control multiple shutterBoxDCs simultaneously.

Control intelligently, e.g. give the order ‘close the roller blinds to 70%’, you don’t have to stand and hold the button.

Blinds with slats

In addition to ordinary external roller blinds, the ‘shutterBoxDC’ can also control slatted blinds.

The position of the roller shutter and slats can be set independently. Decide how much light you let into your home.

Schedule, astronomical clock

The schedule with the astronomical clock function enables automatic control at a given time and at sunrise and sunset based on geographical location – control the roller blinds always at the same time of the day, regardless of the season

Voice control

In combination with Google Home and Alexa voice assistants, you can control devices with your voice.

Give a voice command to your smartphone or Google or Alexa speaker.

uWiFi Remotes

The shutterBoxDC can be paired with the rechargeable “uRemote” remote control, the “sRemote” battery and the “inBox” battery module for wall buttons

The remotes connect to the device directly via μWiFi (do not require a WiFi network to operate).

You can pair one remote control to many receivers, just like you can pair many remote controls to one receiver.

Central control, integration

With the help of powered modules from the actionBox family, you can create a central button for shutterBoxDC controllers without running cables.

The modules from the actionBox family can also be connected, for example, to an alarm control panel to automatically close the roller shutters when the alarm is armed.

The actionBox family controllers send commands via a local WiFi network.

Sensors - WiFi automation

Use the BleBox sensors to control the shutterBoxDC via the WiFi network without running wires, for example:

  • windSensor PRO to protect blinds/shutters from strong wind
  • airSensor to close windows in poor air quality
  • rainSensor to close the awning or roof windows during rain
  • tempSensor to close the slats or blinds on hot days to reduce room heating
