Based on measured CO₂ levels, the device evaluates ventilation performance, while the wBox app provides a clear explanation of the current ventilation status together with the possible effects of elevated carbon dioxide levels.

Indoor CO₂ levels rise quickly as the number of occupants increases, meaning the amount of fresh air supplied should increase accordingly.

By monitoring carbon dioxide concentration, the BleBox co2Sensor quickly detects declining air quality and reduced ventilation performance, allowing you to respond immediately – for example by opening a window or increasing the ventilation rate.
This helps minimise stuffiness, drowsiness and reduced concentration.
While you sleep, you naturally exhale carbon dioxide, causing CO₂ levels to rise gradually throughout the night. This is particularly noticeable in bedrooms with limited ventilation, for example where doors remain closed or ventilation grilles are not available.
The BleBox co2Sensor continuously tracks both current and historical CO₂ levels, helping you determine whether your ventilation system provides enough fresh air throughout the night.
This makes it easier to improve sleep quality by ventilating the room before bedtime or optimising the operation of your ventilation or MVHR system – for example by selecting the appropriate operating mode, adjusting trickle vents or leaving a window slightly open overnight.
