Control of doors and wickets

The “BleBox doorBox PRO” WiFi controller, thanks to its volt-free relay (5–30V DC / 5–230V AC), allows you to open and close doors, wickets, and similar installations equipped with an electric strike, magnetic lock, electric lock, or bolt — from anywhere in the world.

The free wBox app for smartphones and computers enables the creation of groups and scenes, allowing simultaneous control of multiple BleBox devices.

Directly, locally, or remotely

“BleBox doorBox PRO” offers three modes of control:

  • Direct – via the WiFi network broadcast by the controller itself
  • Local – through the home WiFi network, without Internet access
  • Remote – from anywhere in the world, thanks to the free BleBox cloud (servers located in the European Union, USA, and Canada)

Control is performed using a smartphone or computer.

Thanks to the encrypted WiFi network that the controller can broadcast while simultaneously being connected to the home WiFi, you are guaranteed operation even in the event of a router, WiFi access point, or Internet failure.

Enjoy smart home solutions stress-free — you can open the door even if you forget your keys or if your network equipment or Internet connection goes down.

Control opening status

The “BleBox doorBox PRO” WiFi controller allows you to connect a sensor that enables real-time monitoring in the wBox app to check whether a door or gate is open or closed.

The controller input supports connection of:

  • A volt-free “NO” type reed switch
  • An inductive sensor of type “NO” / “NPN”

This lets you check the open/closed status at any time, no matter where you are.

You no longer have to worry whether the door or gate was left open.

Phone notifications

The “BleBox doorBox PRO” door controller can send notifications directly to your phone.

Example notifications:

  • when a door or gate is opened
  • when a door or gate is closed
  • when the door release button is used
  • when the doorbell button is pressed
  • when any signal is detected on the additional input

Notifications can include your own personalized message!*

*Feature coming soon via a software update.

Scheduling and astronomical clock

Scheduling with a built-in astronomical clock enables automatic control of the device at a specific time or based on sunrise and sunset, taking your geographic location into account. The operation time can be precisely adjusted to your individual needs.

This allows for automatic opening and closing of doors or gates at specific times:

  • For an electric lock operating in step-by-step mode, the controller sends an impulse to open or close at the selected time or time of day.
  • For a continuously operated electric strike, the controller can open and maintain the open state, then close it at the chosen time or time of day.*

*The “open and hold” function will be available soon via a software update. Currently, only pulse control is supported.

Safe voltage!

The WiFi controller “BleBox doorBox PRO” is powered by a safe voltage of 12–24V AC/DC, making it suitable for FELV, PELV, and SELV systems.

Support for ELV (extra low voltage) on inputs and outputs makes the device ideal for use in all types of automation applications. The 12–24V AC/DC supply voltage is safe for the user.

Additional control inputs

With the “BleBox doorBox PRO” access control controller, you can connect not only a door sensor but also two additional ELV signal inputs (12–24V AC/DC).

Each input is fully configurable, allowing you to adapt its function to the specific type of connected device or button (momentary, toggle), as well as to individual needs.

Example applications:

  • Doorbell function – pressing the button can, for example, trigger a push notification
  • Internal button for opening a door or gate – for example, installed on a post, handle, or wall inside the property

Automation – controlling other devices

The “BleBox doorBox PRO” controller not only enables access control but also allows the creation of functional home automation scenarios using:

  • signals from a door or gate opening sensor
  • signals from ELV control inputs (12–24V AC/DC), e.g., buttons

Based on these signals, it is possible to wirelessly control other BleBox ON/OFF devices (e.g., switchBox) as well as LED devices (e.g., wLightBox, wLightBoxS).

Example applications:

  • Pressing a button not only sends a notification to your phone but also wirelessly activates a doorbell
  • Pressing the button additionally turns on exterior lighting and/or handle illumination
  • When a door or gate is opened, the device wirelessly turns on hallway lighting for a set duration

Voice control

In combination with Google Home and Amazon Alexa voice assistants, you can conveniently control BleBox devices using voice commands.

Simply give a command to your smartphone, Google speaker, or Amazon Alexa to remotely open a gate, door, lock, or bolt—without the need to manually tap in the app.

Control via remote or wireless button

You can pair the “BleBox doorBox PRO” WiFi controller with the following devices:

The remotes communicate directly with the controller using the proprietary μWiFi protocol, which means they do not require a home WiFi network to function*.

Remote control options include:

  • Pairing a single remote with multiple receivers
  • Pairing multiple remotes with a single receiver

In addition to remotes, wireless control is also possible using:

*If long-range operation is needed or the controller is installed in locations like garages or basements, we recommend testing the μWiFi remote range in advance.

Access control

Thanks to the free BleBox cloud and the wBox app, you can manage access to the controller from anywhere in the world and easily share it with other users.

When operating within a local WiFi network, the “BleBox doorBox PRO” controller also allows the creation of additional local accounts, providing access control without the need for cloud connectivity.

BleBox cloud servers are located in the European Union, the USA, and Canada—to ensure greater reliability and privacy.

External WiFi Antenna!

The “BleBox doorBox PRO” is equipped with an external antenna that significantly increases WiFi range. The controller also features a housing with enhanced resistance to weather conditions.

Thanks to the included antenna, the device operates reliably even at a considerable distance from the router or access point—especially in areas with weak or unstable WiFi signals. The presence of an antenna socket also allows you to replace the standard antenna with a directional one or route it outside the installation site—for example, outside an electrical cabinet, metal post, or another device enclosure.

The “PRO” version of the doorBox controller is designed for outdoor installation or any location where increased durability and weather resistance are required.
